New Year's Eve 2017–2018 in Naples

Once again, a magical night has been arranged for New Year's Eve in Naples.

If you are spending this New Year’s Eve on the Amalfi Coast, then head to Naples for a musical treat. This year, Piazza del Plebiscito will host a concert with a diverse programme of performers on 31st December 2017, celebrating the arrival of the new year.

Although the official programme has been kept back as a surprise, news outlets in Italy are reporting that performers will include Daniele Sepe, Massimo Jovine, Ciccio Merolla, Enzo Gragnaniello, James Senese, O 'Zulu', Valentina Stella, Franco Ricciardi, Dario Sansone, Valerio Jovine , Carmine D'Aniello and Francesco Di Bella.

The musical collective, called the “United Territories”, aims to draw attention to racism in the modern society and will surely be an unforgettable event.

In addition to the great concert, there will be an epic firework display over the sea. For the best view, head to Castel dell'Ovo in Naples – the firework display is expected to take place at 1.30am on 1st January 2018. There will also be an open-air disco at Lungomare Caracciolo, starting at 12:30am and continuing until dawn, with four enticing musical genres to enjoy: techno and house music at Rotonda Diaz, live music with animation at Piazza Vittoria, Latin American music on Via Partenope, and 1970s and 1980s music at Borgo Marinari.
